Shaip is a AI data platform company providing services like AI data collection, transcription, translation, etc. to leading AI companies like Google, Amazon and Microsoft to build AI training datasets. We are a bootstrapped profitable company built by founders having 20+ years of experience in tech and services. We are growing at 2X for last 5 years.

We are three passionate founders - Utsav, Hardik and Vatsal looking to make an impact in the world of AI. Shaip signifies Shaping any kind of AI within any vertical, country or region. While I have working experience of 10 years in Strategy, International Sales and Finance, my other two cofounders have experience of more than 15+ years in sales, marketing, tech and product. I am based out of Ahmedabad and rest of the folks are based out of States. We serve global customers and believe that tech can change the world for good.

Problem Statement: Shaip is seeking an energetic and strategic VP Sales to help them expand to international markets in the APAC region. This pivotal role encompasses the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to client support and product enhancement feedback. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with the ability to drive significant growth and forge strong industry connections. You will be responsible for recruiting, building and leading internal and customer facing sales team.
Key Duties:
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with industry leaders, key stakeholders, and potential clients, fostering trust and collaboration
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy tailored to the APAC market, aligning with the company's overall objectives
- Client Engagement: Identify and engage high-potential clients, including private equity firms, investment banks, and relevant consulting firms, driving new business opportunities
- Sales Management: Oversee the entire sales process from lead generation to deal closure and ongoing customer support, ensuring a seamless client experience
- Brand Representation: Represent the company at high-profile industry events and conferences to enhance brand visibility, generate leads, and position the company as a thought leader
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and gather product feedback for continuous improvement. Facilitate cross-functional communication to optimize sales strategies
